Biography
Clare Major (BEd and further graduate studies in inclusive and adaptive practices), has worked within the public and independent school educators for over 20 years. In this time she has worked as classroom teacher, student welfare coordinator, regional project leader and assistant principal.Clare’s expertise, passion and experience have culminated in extensive work in the challenge of differentiation. She has led the sustainable development of the Mornington Inquiry Learning Centre with an explicit focus on inquiry learning and catering for diversity in learning.
Clare’s work as a training associate for HBPLS takes her to schools and organisations around Australia to support them in meeting the challenges of differentiation at the classroom, school and regional level. Clare currently serves as Director of ‘Play for Life’ Australia Ltd, a non for profit organisation committed to improving the state of ‘play’ in all Australians.
